Write for us
We welcome considered pitches from writers and image-makers who can help general readers notice and understand the night sky. Send proposals through the Contact page rather than submitting a finished article without prior agreement.
What fits
We look for clear, original work about observing from home, celestial patterns, sky maps, optical tools and the culture of looking up. A strong idea offers a distinct reader takeaway and suits an evergreen article, visual explanation or carefully framed personal essay.
A useful pitch
Tell us the proposed subject, the central point, why it suits Stellar Living Guide and how you would make it clear to a general reader. Mention relevant experience only where it helps explain your approach; do not imply credentials or access you do not have.
Accuracy and scope
Pitches should avoid unsupported claims, invented observations and promises about visibility that depend on a reader's location or conditions. Explain any uncertainty, and identify sources or specialist input that a finished piece would need.
How to send it
Use the Contact page and choose the editorial question option to submit a pitch. A proposal is not a commission, and we will discuss scope and terms before any agreed work begins.
The sky rewards a closer look.
Good observing starts with attention, not elaborate gear. We make the night sky easier to approach by looking at its patterns, tools and small decisions.
