Stellar Living Guide

Editorial policy

Stellar Living Guide aims to make skywatching clear, accurate and enjoyable. We explain our choices, correct meaningful errors and keep editorial judgment distinct from commercial arrangements.

Accuracy and clarity

We check factual claims against appropriate reference material before publication and write so readers can distinguish established descriptions from interpretation. Sky visibility varies with location, time and conditions; when those factors matter, we say so rather than promise a particular view.

Independence

Editorial decisions are made for reader value and fit with our subject. A commercial relationship does not guarantee coverage, a favourable view or control over editorial conclusions.

Corrections

If you notice an error, contact us with the article title and the detail in question. We review correction requests and, when a material error is confirmed, update the article with wording that makes the correction clear.

Partner material and illustrations

Paid placements, sponsored material and partner links are identified clearly wherever they appear. They are kept distinct from independently selected editorial work. Some illustrations may be generated with artificial intelligence; such images are illustrative, not evidence of an observed celestial event.

Our point of view

The sky rewards a closer look.

Good observing starts with attention, not elaborate gear. We make the night sky easier to approach by looking at its patterns, tools and small decisions.
